Mt. Pleasant Area Chamber of Commerce issued the following announcement on Feb. 19.
Mt. Pleasant Citizens’ Climate Lobby/Education is collaborating with CMU to highlight what is being done at the university and in the local community to deal with the problems created by climate change and consider how to implement more solutions in the future at the Central Michigan Climate Solutions Summit, Saturday, March 21.
We are looking for individuals, businesses, and groups to contribute posters and engage in informational tabling for the community component. If your business or organization uses clean energy or sustainable business practices, we would like to include you in the tabling session, 9:00-10:00 a.m. To contribute a poster or reserve a free table, please send a short description of the nature of your organization or business and how it contributes to climate solutions to Marie Koper (community submissions) at mtp.mi.ccl@gmail.com by Monday, March 2, 2020.
