MIDMICHIGAN MEDICAL CENTER - GLADWIN: Community Invited to Dec. 9 Love Light Trees Ceremony in Gladwin

MidMichigan Medical Center - Gladwin issued the following announcement on Nov. 25. 

MidMichigan Medical Center - Gladwin invites the community to its Love Light Trees ceremony and candle lighting remembrance event set for Monday, Dec. 9, beginning at 6 p.m., in the Gladwin Pines Dining Room at MidMichigan Medical Center − Gladwin. Patti Antonacopoulos will be lighting the tree in remembrance of her husband Dr. Peter Antonacopoulos.

The Love Light Trees will be lit in a warm ceremony that will include an invocation by Reverend David Sprang, assistant to the Bishop of the Northwest Lower Michigan Synod of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America. Howard Tyree, P. A. C., MidMichigan Urgent Care – Gladwin will fill the night air with music along with a local home schooled children’s choir performing. The lighting of the remembrance candles, along with serving of holiday refreshments with Santa, will help round out the evening’s program.

Contributions to the MidMichigan Health Foundation from this event will support The Compassionate Needs Fund that assists patients served at MidMichigan Medical Center - Gladwin with necessary medications, transportation and medical equipment.
