MidMichigan Medical Center - Gladwin issued the following announcement on Oct. 15.
The Gift Shop at MidMichigan Medical Center – West Branch will hold its first annual Holiday Open House on Tuesday, Nov. 5 and Wednesday, Nov. 6, from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. The sale will be held in the lobby and in The Gift Shop and will feature new items, including clothing, jewelry, purses, baby and pet items. Holiday shoppers will receive 10 percent off all purchases. Free holiday refreshments of hot cocoa and cookies also will be served.
The Gift Shop is operated by a dedicated group of volunteers who give generously of their time and talents. All profits from sales are donated to the Medical Center for the purchase of needed items. More than $18,000 has been donated this year alone; $15,000 of that allocated for needed wheelchairs.
