Bill G. Schuette, a member of the Michigan House of Representatives, used his social media platform in early October 2025 to highlight key achievements in the state’s budget process and its impact on Mid-Michigan.

On October 3, 2025, Schuette stated, "I am proud to have worked to secure a budget that delivers value for the Michigander’s taxpayer dollars, provides record student funding and finally fixes our roads." Later that day, he emphasized the priorities of the Michigan House Republicans’ budget with another post: "The Michigan House Republicans budget passed last night puts YOU first!

-cutting wasteful spending

-record funding for students

- major infrastructure investments in Mid-Michigan."

Continuing his focus on local benefits, Schuette shared an update on October 4 regarding direct appropriations for infrastructure in his district. He wrote, "Proud to have delivered nearly $20M in direct appropriations to some of the greatest infrastructure needs in the 95th District in the FY26 budget.

I’ll continue to work hard to deliver for Mid-Michigan."

Schuette represents Michigan's 95th District and has been active in advocating for increased investment in education and infrastructure. State lawmakers frequently negotiate annual budgets that address priorities such as road repairs and school funding.
