Eastern Michigan University's football team is gearing up for the 2025 season with a strong message of "The Climb." At the Mid-American Conference Football Media Day held at Ford Field, Head Coach Chris Creighton, along with senior players Mickey Rewolinski and Jefferson Adam, emphasized their commitment to teamwork and growth. Creighton, now in his 12th year as head coach, highlighted the importance of building a cohesive team despite roster changes due to new recruits and transfers.

"We're about to embark on our camp," Creighton said during an ESPN+ interview. "We're going to really, really get good at playing Eastern Michigan football—with guys who now know each other and care about each other and are a good fit."

This year, EMU introduces 50 new players as part of its ongoing strategy to strengthen the team. The Eagles also participated in a symbolic climb up Pikes Peak as part of their tradition, which Creighton noted was a testament to their determination.

Creighton acknowledged the challenges posed by modern college football dynamics such as NIL deals and the transfer portal. He shared an impactful quote by Billy Graham: "A coach will impact more lives in a year than an average person will in a lifetime."

Senior offensive lineman Mickey Rewolinski expressed confidence in the team's potential. "Championship is always the hope," he said, praising both the running back room and offensive line's experience.

The quarterback position remains competitive with Noah Kim, Cameron Edge, and Jeremiah Salem all vying for the role. As preseason preparations continue, Eastern Michigan plans one final workout at Warren Dunes State Park before heading into camp.

EMU's schedule includes games against Texas State, Long Island University, Kentucky, and Central Michigan University. Season ticket packages are available with various options tailored for alumni and fans.

Tickets can be purchased online at EMUEagles.com/tickets or through other channels provided by EMU.
