College Sports Communicators (CSC) has announced the 2024-25 Men's and Women's Cross Country/Track & Field Academic All-District teams, recognizing top student-athletes for their performances in athletics and academics. Nine student-athletes from Eastern Michigan University's (EMU) men's and women's programs have been named to this list.

To qualify for the award, student-athletes needed a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.50 and at least one performance ranking inside the NCAA Great Lakes Region top-50. The CSC Academic All-America program honors athletes across four divisions: NCAA Division I, II, III, and NAIA.

Honorees from EMU's men's team include Gabe Singh, Jake McEachern, Carson McCoy, Cason Doolittle, and Olawole Olanrewaju. Singh was noted for his six region top-50 times and a 3.57 GPA in individualized studies. McEachern achieved two region top-50 marks despite an injury-ridden season, maintaining a 3.76 GPA as a biology major. McCoy held a 3.80 GPA in exercise science while excelling in the 800m events both indoors and outdoors. Doolittle maintained a 3.91 GPA in aviation flight technology with strong multi-event performances. Olanrewaju shone as a first-year transfer with five top-50 marks and a 3.63 GPA in digital media production.

For the women's team, Marta Moreno, Isabella Brent, Chloie Musta, and Sofia Ivanko received recognition. Moreno graduated with a degree in art and posted notable performances including a second-place finish at the conference's indoor championships. Brent finished her collegiate career with significant achievements in hammer throw while earning her degree in criminology and criminal justice with a 3.85 GPA. Musta excelled as an 800m specialist while completing her nursing degree with a 3.69 GPA. Ivanko won the 10000m run at the MAC Outdoor Championships while maintaining a 3.83 GPA as an exercise science major.

These athletes will advance to consideration for CSC Academic All-America honors to be announced on July 15-16.
