The College Sports Communicators (CSC) has announced its annual Men's and Women's At-Large Academic All-District selections. Six student-athletes from Eastern Michigan University (EMU) were recognized on June 23, 2025. The honored athletes include Angelica Holman from golf, Raisa Boris from gymnastics, Mackenzie Blackwell and Annika Wozney from lacrosse, and Bryah Moriarty and Lily Wilhelm from rowing.
To qualify for this recognition, a student-athlete must be a sophomore both athletically and academically, maintain at least a 3.50 grade-point average, and meet specific criteria based on their sport. These criteria involve participation in team-scored events or tournaments across different sports.
Angelica Holman joined EMU's golf program in January 2025 as a junior. She participated in eight events with an average of 78.2 strokes per round. Holman contributed to the team's success at various championships and secured a victory at the Women's National Golf Invitational.
Raisa Boris, a senior gymnast from Brooklyn Park, Minnesota, achieved significant milestones during her time with EMU. She was recognized as the MAC's Senior Gymnast of the Year for two consecutive seasons and earned Second-Team All-MAC honors.
Mackenzie Blackwell is a junior lacrosse player who received multiple awards from the MAC in 2025. She was named the MAC Attacker of the Year while also achieving notable career milestones such as scoring over 100 goals.
Annika Wozney also plays lacrosse for EMU and earned her first postseason honor by being named to the All-MAC First Team. Her defensive performance throughout the season drew attention from coaches across the league.
Bryah Moriarty is a sophomore rower who was named All-CAA for her contributions to EMU's rowing team this season. She competed in each regatta on the 1V8 team.
Lily Wilhelm is another standout rower who has been named All-CAA twice in her career at EMU. She previously helped secure gold for the United States at the World University Games in 2024.
