Ryan Kucera, head coach of the Eastern Michigan University tennis program, announced the signing of three new players for the 2025-26 season. Pehal Kharadkar, Matilde Parreira, and Cylova Zuleyka Hukmasabiyya have signed Athletic Financial Aid Agreements to join the Eagles ahead of the fall 2025 season.

"We are thrilled to welcome an outstanding incoming class to our program," Kucera stated. "This group brings not only immense talent and competitiveness on the court but also the character, humility, and drive we value deeply."

These new additions will join previously announced signees Kenzy Elhamrawy from Egypt and Sabrina Tolstova from Ukraine. The complete team is set to meet on campus at the start of the fall semester on August 25.

Kharadkar hails from Indore, India, with a background in ITF Junior tournaments. She has achieved notable rankings within India's All India Tennis Association lists. Coach Kucera expressed enthusiasm about her joining by saying, "Pehal is a true Eagle, both as a player and a person."

Parreira comes from Leiria, Portugal. She has reached high levels in national and international tournaments with a WTA ranking peak at No. 1,383. Her addition was described by Kucera as exciting: "Her passion for tennis was evident from my first conversation with her."

Zuleyka Hukmasabiyya is one of Indonesia's top junior players and recently represented her nation at the Billie Jean King Cup in Malaysia. She currently ranks No. 536 in ITF Juniors. "Cylova is a very high achieving young person both on and off the court," said Kucera.

The team's schedule for their upcoming season will be released later this summer.
