The Mid-American Conference (MAC) announced its annual Academic All-MAC honors for lacrosse on June 3, with Eastern Michigan University (EMU) student-athletes earning significant recognition. Fourteen EMU athletes were acknowledged for their academic and athletic achievements, marking the second year in a row that this number of Eagles has been honored.
To qualify for this accolade, student-athletes must be sophomores academically and athletically, maintain a minimum grade-point average of 3.20, and have participated in at least half of their team's competitions during the season. This year, 82 student-athletes across the league received honors. Kent State University led with 17 honorees, while Eastern Michigan followed closely with 14.
Tracy Grollman from Annapolis, Maryland, and Avery Schwab from Dublin, Ohio both received their third consecutive awards. Eight others earned their second award: Abby Alderman, Amber Alderman, Caitlin Beahm, Mackenzie Blackwell, Samantha Borgert, Kyleigh Dill, Haley Hodak, and Annika Wozney. First-time honorees included Roya Khaleeli, Karly Low, Kendall Nagle, and Maddie Porter.
