Andy Walker, head coach of the Eastern Michigan University men's golf program, announced the addition of Leondro Mihaich to the team's 2025-26 roster. Mihaich, a senior, will join the Eagles for his final collegiate season this fall. The Argentine golfer has achieved notable success, including being a two-time NCAA Division II All-American and winning the 2024 NCAA Division II Jack Nicklaus Award.

"It is not every day you get a chance to add a Jack Nicklaus Award winner to your roster," Walker stated. "I'm very excited to get to work with Leo as he prepares in his senior season for the PGA Tour. His ball striking is elite, and he is going to add leadership and experience to this already deep recruiting class."

Mihaich has played for Oklahoma Christian for two seasons where he excelled as a Lone Star Conference individual champion twice and earned All-America honors in 2024 and 2025. He was ranked No. 9 nationally last season with an average score of 70.3 strokes and finished third in two tournaments alongside his league title. Additionally, he placed 20th at the NCAA Division II Championships and contributed to his team reaching the quarterfinals of the NCAA Division II Match-Play event.

In the 2023-24 season, Mihaich was ranked No. 2 nationally with an average score of 69.8 and won several accolades including the NCAA Division II Jack Nicklaus Award and Gary Player International Golfer of the Year honor.

Leondro Mihaich is part of a recruitment class that includes junior transfers Charlie Box from Leicester, England, Jorge Parada from Hermosillo, Mexico, and freshmen Hugo Duquaine from Belgium, Joshua Hess from Switzerland, and Robby Turnbull from New Zealand.
