Eight members of Eastern Michigan University's gymnastics team have been named to the Academic All-MAC Team for 2025, according to an announcement from the Mid-American Conference. The recognition is awarded to student-athletes who excel in both athletics and academics. To be eligible, recipients must maintain a cumulative GPA of at least 3.20 and participate in over half of their sports' contests.
Among the honored athletes from Eastern Michigan are seniors Raisa Boris, Alana Fisher, and Ella Chemotti, juniors Kyrie Lowe and Priya Karle, and sophomores Abby Brushwood, Gwendelyn Cantu, and Katin Childress. Notably, Boris and Chemotti have achieved this recognition three times, while Lowe and Fisher are being honored for the second time.
The full Academic All-MAC list comprises 65 student-athletes from various universities within the conference. Western Michigan University and Kent State University led with 11 honorees each.
