For the second consecutive week, Eastern Michigan University's tennis seniors, Sabina Brichackova and Prerna Vichare, were named the Mid-American Conference (MAC) Doubles Team of the Week. This recognition follows their continuous success on the court, having secured four consecutive victories at No. 1 doubles.

The duo, who received the same honor on April 7, showcased a strong performance during Senior Weekend. They lost only two games across their matches, contributing to EMU's pair of 5-2 victories. On April 11, they defeated the Northern Illinois University team of Erika Dimitriev and Nataly Ninova with a commanding 6-0 win. Then, on Senior Day, April 13, they achieved a 6-2 victory over Isabella Baker and Tia Clemens.

Their effectiveness has been evident throughout their careers, recording 44 wins together. Brichackova's 62 career doubles victories place her 16th all-time at EMU, while Vichare's 60 wins rank her 19th all-time, making her the 20th Eagle with 60 or more doubles wins in her career.

This doubles recognition is the duo's second this season alone, and also marks the third such award for EMU tennis in 2025. Earlier, the freshman duo of Iva Daneva and Viki Hazmukova earned the title on Jan. 27 after winning two games during a road trip.

Looking ahead, the Eagles are set to face Ball State University in their season finale. The match is scheduled for 1 p.m. on April 18 in Muncie, Indiana, closing the regular season for all MAC teams.

The 2025 MAC Weekly Awards noted include:

- Singles: Daniella Shved (April 7)

- Doubles: Iva Daneva/Viki Hazmukova (Jan. 27); Sabina Brichackova/Prerna Vichare (April 7 & April 14)
