The Eastern Michigan University men's golf team is preparing for the Bell Bank 'Pay It Forward' Intercollegiate tournament at Wigwam Resort in Litchfield Park, Arizona. This event will be hosted by the University of Minnesota and the University of St. Thomas on March 24-25, 2025. The tournament will feature 16 teams playing 54 holes on a par-72 course known as the 'Arizona Monster'.

The Eagles' lineup includes Daniel Robles Delval, Tim Chan, Rory McDonald-O'Brien, Bavake Sihota, and James Baxter. Each player brings their own strengths to the team. For instance, Tim Chan holds a school record with a round of 63 at White Sands.

"Daniel Robles Delval placed fifth at the Desert Mountain Intercollegiate (March 8-9), marking his second top 10 finish of the season," according to an EMU release. The team has three more tournaments before entering postseason play at the MAC Championships in late April.

Of note among competing teams is Marquette, ranked No. 49 in NCAA Division I rankings as of March 19. Other notable teams include Iowa State and Nebraska.

In individual rankings, Patrick Adler from Marquette leads as No. 104 in NCAA Division I rankings.

"Eastern returns to action April 11-12 when the Eagles travel to Raleigh, N.C., to participate in the Stitch Intercollegiate," concludes an EMU statement about future plans.
