The Mid-American Conference (MAC) has announced its annual awards for women's basketball, recognizing Eastern Michigan University junior Sisi Eleko with a place on the All-MAC Second Team. Eleko is notable for being the only player in the league to average a double-double this season, finishing with averages of 17.9 points and 10.1 rebounds per game.

Eleko's performance throughout the season ranked her among the top players in several statistical categories within the MAC. She was second in scoring with 17.9 points per game and third in total points with 500. Her rebounding prowess was unmatched as she led the league with an average of 10.1 rebounds per game, becoming the only player to achieve double figures in this category. She also placed second in total rebounds at 284, second in defensive rebounds with 205, and fourth in offensive rebounds with 79 while averaging 34 minutes played per game, ranking seventh in the MAC.

On a national scale, Eleko concluded the regular season ranked highly across various metrics: 21st in defensive rebounds per game (7.3), 23rd in overall rebounds per game (10.1), and tied for 26th place for double-doubles (14). Her career statistics place her among active NCAA players, ranking 23rd for rebounds per game (8.81) and tied for 29th in double-doubles with a total of 34.

In her debut season at Ypsilanti, Eleko amassed significant numbers that held historical significance for EMU's program: her tally of 500 points made her just the thirteenth player to reach this milestone within a single season and fifth to do so during their junior year; meanwhile, her collection of 283 rebounds positioned her third on EMU’s all-time single-season list behind Felicia Hines (292) and Suzanne Huff (286).
