The Eastern Michigan University divers are set to compete at the 2025 NCAA Zone C Diving Championships. This event, hosted by Ohio State University, will take place at the McCorkle Aquatic Pavilion in Columbus, Ohio, from March 10-12.

The competition begins on Monday and Tuesday at 1 p.m., featuring the 3m dive on Monday and the 1m dive on Tuesday. The platform dive is scheduled for Wednesday starting at 11 a.m.

Eastern Michigan will be represented by five divers: Megan Lupa, Rebekah Knapp, Ciara Wheeler, Malia Maire, and Taityn Speier. Lupa is set to participate in all three events. Knapp will compete in the 1m and 3m dives, while Wheeler, Maire, and Speier will take part in the 1m dive.

Megan Lupa qualified for the championships with her performances throughout various competitions this season. She achieved a personal best of 284.25 points in the 3m dive against Ohio earlier this year and secured her spot in other events with scores at different meets.

Rebekah Knapp also qualified for both the 1m and 3m dives with notable scores against Cleveland State and Oakland. Ciara Wheeler earned her qualification against Indiana State, while Malia Maire did so against Oakland. Taityn Speier made her first career NCAA zones cut with a score at the Michigan First Chance Meet.

Following this event, EMU swimmers will compete in their own post-season championship at the College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America National Invitational Championships in Ocala, Florida from March 13-15.
