The Eastern Michigan University women's golf team participated in the Daniel Island Invitational, held on February 24-25 at the Ralston Creek Course of the Daniel Island Golf Club in South Carolina. The Eagles secured the 14th position in the team standings of this three-round tournament.

Savannah de Bock was the standout performer for EMU, finishing tied for 15th with a score of 2-over 218 (73-73-72). This marked her seventh consecutive top-15 finish and added another score to her record within the program's all-time top 20. Riley Kim and Mariana Vega both tied for 47th place, each recording a total score of 12-over 228. Kim's performance matched her second-lowest score of the season.

Erina Tan achieved a personal best with her final round score of 73, placing her tied for 59th at 18-over 234. Angelica Holman concluded EMU’s participation by finishing in the 74th position with a score of 28-over 244.

The Eagles' third-round team score of 292 tied for their program's twelfth-lowest single-round score historically. De Bock’s individual achievement continued as she placed another notable result on EMU's all-time list, now holding six scores within that category.

Looking ahead, Eastern Michigan is set to compete next at the River Landing Classic on March 3-4, hosted by UNC Wilmington at River Landing Golf Club in Wallace, North Carolina. Teams participating include Appalachian State, Charleston Southern, North Carolina A&T, Princeton, Radford, William & Mary, and others alongside EMU and host UNCW.

Results from the Daniel Island Invitational show NC State leading with an overall score of -17 under par (847), followed closely by Charleston at -14 under par (850), and Charlotte rounding out the top three with +1 over par (865).
