Reflecting on past performances, the Eagles have shown significant achievements this season. At last year's Silverston Invitational, Jake McEachern made a notable impact with a personal record in weight throw, while eight athletes secured individual victories. Recently, Saraiah Walkes achieved two personal records and program second-best times at the Tiger Paw Invitational.

In previous competitions like the GVSU Big Meet, Kian Wiles improved his mile time significantly. Micah Martin and Chloie Musta also delivered strong performances in their respective events.

The EMU men's team currently holds 18 top-five conference rankings across various events. Notable mentions include Bamidele Ajayi in the 200m and 400m races, Carson McCoy in the 800m, and Lucky Fiaku in high jump. The women's team boasts 13 top-five rankings with standout performances from Saraiah Walkes and Josephine Oloye.

According to USTFCCCA rankings, EMU's women's team is leading in the MAC while placing ninth regionally. The men's team ranks second behind Akron in MAC standings.

The Eagles have also seen changes in their coaching staff with Chris Best and Sterling Roberts now directing cross country/track & field operations. Sue Parks continues as Associate Head Coach alongside new additions Austin Whitelaw and Nia Henderson.

Looking ahead, Eastern Michigan aims to build on its success as it prepares for upcoming competitions including national championships where athletes like Jake McEachern have already excelled internationally.
