The Eastern Michigan University (EMU) women's basketball team is preparing for a home game against Central Michigan University on February 19 at the George Gervin GameAbove Center in Ypsilanti. The game will start at 6:30 p.m. and will be available for viewing on ESPN+ with commentary from Ryan Wooley and Claire Dau. Additionally, Tom Helmer and John Motherwell will provide live coverage on WEMU (89.1 FM) and the Varsity Network.

The Eagles have had a challenging season against other Michigan schools, holding an all-time record of 172-168 but currently standing at 0-4 this season. They last faced Ball State, losing narrowly by five points in a close match that ended 74-69. This was the closest any Mid-American Conference (MAC) team has come to defeating Ball State this year.
