Eastern Michigan University's women's basketball team faced a challenging game against Ball State University, ultimately losing 74-69 at the George Gervin GameAbove Center in Ypsilanti on February 15. Despite holding a lead late into the third quarter, the Eagles were unable to secure a victory over the Cardinals, who remain undefeated in league play.

Elena Cabello stood out for Eastern Michigan with a career-high of 13 points, contributing significantly to her team's efforts. Sisi Eleko also delivered an impressive performance with 15 points and 12 rebounds, marking her twelfth double-double of the season.

The game began with Eastern Michigan taking an early lead thanks to a strong start that saw Ball State struggle initially. However, Ball State quickly recovered and took control during the second quarter. The Eagles managed to tie the score by halftime but couldn't maintain their momentum through the final stages of the match.
