The Eastern Michigan University gymnastics team is preparing to face Central Michigan at McGuirk Arena on Friday, February 14. The meet is scheduled for 6 p.m. and will be available for viewing on ESPN+, with live results accessible via the EMU gymnastics schedule page on EMUEagles.com.

In their last outing, Eastern suffered a defeat against Western Michigan on February 9, despite Raisa Boris securing an all-around win with a season-best score of 39.200. Raisa Boris' performance included a top beam score of 9.875, while Abby Brushwood matched her career high on floor with a 9.850 and Alana Fisher posted a career-best 9.825 on beam.

Kyrie Lowe recently achieved her first career all-around victory at Northern Illinois on February 2, scoring 38.850 with notable performances including a 9.775 on bars.

Raisa Boris has been recognized as MAC Gymnast of the Week and MAC Scholar-Athlete of the Week in January following strong performances across multiple events.

Eastern Michigan narrowly defeated preseason favorite Ball State at the Golden Girls Classic earlier this year, improving to a record of 4-0 for the first time since at least 2001.

Central Michigan currently ranks second in the Mid-American Conference (MAC) and holds a national rank of 42nd with an average score of 194.654, particularly excelling in floor exercises where they are ranked nationally at number thirty-six.

The Eagles finished sixth in last year's MAC Championships but have shown promise this season under new assistant coach Lauren Volpe, who joined from Ball State University after contributing to back-to-back MAC championships there.

The upcoming MAC Championships are set to take place at Central Michigan University on March 22, offering another opportunity for Eastern to compete among their conference peers.
