The Eastern Michigan University Swimming & Diving program has been awarded the Scholar All-America accolade by the College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) for the fall semester of 2024. This marks the 23rd occasion that the Eagles have received this recognition, as announced on Monday, February 3.

To qualify for this award, teams needed to maintain a grade point average (GPA) above 3.0 during the Fall 2024 semester. Among those selected, 654 teams achieved a GPA of 3.30 or higher, making them eligible for the Intercollegiate Coach Association Coalition All-Sport Academic Standings. Eastern Michigan University was included on this list with a cumulative fall GPA of 3.583.

Additionally, the swim & dive team contributed to setting a record GPA for the EMU Athletic Department, which collectively posted a GPA of 3.438. The team's overall GPA stands at an impressive 3.721, with 26 women achieving a GPA of 3.0 or higher and seven women attaining a perfect 4.0 GPA.

Looking ahead, the Eagles are set to celebrate their seniors at Jones Natatorium during the annual Senior Extravaganza on Saturday, February 8. The event will start at 1 p.m., featuring traditional swimming and diving events along with themed games and challenges. Admission is free.
