The Eastern Michigan University gymnastics team is set to compete against Northern Illinois University this Sunday, February 2, at the Convocation Center in DeKalb, Illinois. Raisa Boris has been recognized as MAC Gymnast of the Week and MAC Scholar-Athlete of the Week in January. Her performances have consistently placed her in the top 10 across all events, including a second-place finish on beam with a score of 9.825.
Earlier this season, Eastern Michigan achieved a narrow victory over Ball State, which was favored in preseason polls. This victory contributed to their early-season success where they went 4-0 for the first time since at least 2001.
