The Eastern Michigan University (EMU) women's basketball team will host the University of St. Thomas in their final game of 2024. The game is scheduled for December 28 at 2 p.m. at the George Gervin GameAbove Center in Ypsilanti, Michigan. Fans can watch the live stream on ESPN+ with commentary from Ryan Wooley and Lexi Ayala or listen to Tom Helmer's broadcast on WEMU (89.1 FM).

The Eagles enter this matchup with a record of 1-8 after two recent losses at the UTRGV Holiday Classic in Edinburg, Texas. They suffered a 73-66 overtime defeat against UTRGV and a 67-52 loss to Texas A&M-Corpus Christi.

Sisi Eleko leads EMU with averages of 20.7 points and 11.6 rebounds per game, ranking her nationally among the top players in both categories. Mackenzie Amalia also stands out with an average of 5.3 assists per game, placing her third in the Mid-American Conference (MAC). Olivia Westphal has been effective from beyond the arc, averaging 2.8 three-pointers per game.

St. Thomas comes into this contest with a record of 7-5 under head coach Ruth Sinn. Their key players include Jo Langbehn and Jade Hill, who are both averaging over 15 points per game.

This will be the first meeting between EMU and St. Thomas as well as EMU's last non-conference home game before facing a Sun Belt opponent on February 8 as part of the MAC-SBC Challenge.
