The Mid-American Conference (MAC) has recognized Eastern Michigan University sophomore Savannah de Bock as the MAC Women's Golfer of the Week. This announcement was made on October 31. De Bock had previously received this honor on September 27, and her selection came after a vote by the league's head coaches.

De Bock, hailing from Ecaussinnes-d'Enghien, Belgium, led the Eastern Michigan Eagles at the 2024 Hurricane Invitational. The event took place at the University of Miami's Biltmore Golf Course in Coral Gables, Florida, from October 28 to 29. She achieved her fifth top-eight finish in five tournaments this fall, securing runner-up honors with a score of six-under-par, totaling 210 (71-68-71). This marked her third top-two finish of the season. Her second-round score of 68 was part of her record of achieving scores of 69 or lower in five out of fifteen rounds played. Her total score of 210 is her second-best for the year and ranks as the second-lowest in EMU history, just behind her school record of 204 set at the Golfweek Red Sky Classic in September. De Bock has shot par or better in fourteen out of fifteen rounds this year and is a combined twenty-eight under par for the season.

Eastern Michigan is scheduled to return to competition for its spring season starting January 27, 2025. They will participate in the Match in the Desert hosted by the University of Kansas. This eight-team event includes one round at Superstition Mountain Golf and Country Club in Gold Canyon, Arizona. The field features several highly ranked teams such as No. 6 Arizona State University, No. 19 Texas A&M University, and No. 25 Kansas. Other participating teams include Baylor University, Purdue University, and San Jose State University.
