Eastern Michigan University (EMU) Lacrosse has announced its schedule for the 2025 season. The team, led by Head Coach Maddie Dugan, will play a total of 16 games with seven taking place at home. This announcement follows the team's first-ever postseason appearance and aims to secure a spot in both the Mid-American Conference (MAC) Tournament and the NCAA Tournament.
The Eagles will start their season with seven of their initial nine games on the road before playing five of their last six games at home, including two conference matchups. The team is set to compete in six MAC games this season—three at home and three away.
The schedule kicks off with a scrimmage against Grand Valley State University on January 26 at EMU's Indoor Practice Facility. The regular season begins on February 9 when San Diego State University visits Ypsilanti. Subsequently, Eastern Michigan will embark on a series of away games starting with Notre Dame on February 15 in South Bend, Indiana. They will continue southward to face Presbyterian College on February 25 in Clinton, South Carolina, followed by Gardner-Webb University on February 27 in Boiling Springs, North Carolina.
March sees EMU returning home to host Canisius University on March 1 before another three-game road trip that includes matches against Butler University, the University of Cincinnati, and Robert Morris University—the defending MAC Tournament Champion—which also marks EMU’s MAC opener.
On March 23, Eastern Michigan hosts Youngstown State University for its first MAC home game before traveling to Central Michigan University on March 30. April features six games beginning with an away game against the University of Michigan—a team that reached the quarterfinals of the NCAA Tournament last year—on April 3.
Subsequent matches include hosting Detroit Mercy and Oregon before visiting Kent State University. The Eagles wrap up their regular-season schedule with two more home fixtures: Akron visits for EMU’s MAC finale on April 20 and Marquette concludes their campaign on April 25.
The top four teams from the conference will advance to the MAC Tournament where they will compete for an automatic berth into the NCAA Tournament. Semifinals are scheduled for May 1 followed by the championship game set for May 3.
