Eastern Michigan University's men's basketball team secured a victory over Central State University with a score of 85-63 in an exhibition game held at the George Gervin GameAbove Center. Christian Henry led the Eagles with 21 points, while Da'Sean Nelson contributed 18 points.

The game began with Eastern Michigan trailing behind, as Central State led by seven points midway through the first half. However, Eastern Michigan turned the tide with a 32-16 run, largely driven by Henry's performance, who scored 18 points and provided two assists in the first half. This effort resulted in Eastern Michigan leading 49-36 at halftime.

Eastern Michigan capitalized on Central State's errors, scoring 38 points off of 25 turnovers compared to Central State's seven. The Eagles extended their lead to 20 points halfway through the second half and maintained control for the rest of the game.

Jalen Billingsley was notable for his efficiency on the court, going six-for-six from the field and scoring 13 points in just 12 minutes of play. Other contributors included Yusuf Jihad with ten points and freshmen Dillon Tingler and Godslove Nwabude each adding five points off the bench.

Looking ahead, Eastern Michigan will begin its season on November 4th against Texas State Bobcats. The game will be available for streaming on ESPN+ and can also be followed via radio on WEMU.
