Cory Taylor achieved three hits during Eastern Michigan University's baseball game against Bowling Green State University. Despite his efforts, EMU lost 7-1 at Oestrike Stadium on May 11. This victory, along with Northern Illinois University's win over Western Michigan, ensured that Bowling Green secured at least a share of the Mid-American Conference Regular Season title.
Eastern Michigan's only run came in the fourth inning when Taylor scored. Afterward, Bowling Green dominated by adding six more runs in the remaining innings to seal their win.
Notable performances included Niko Kreuzer, who pitched for 3.2 innings and allowed one earned run while striking out five—a personal best for the freshman. Nathan Ball contributed an RBI in the fourth inning, marking his eighth of the season.
This game was the 190th meeting between Eastern Michigan and Bowling Green, with EMU maintaining a historical lead of 112-78 over BGSU.
