First-year head coach of Eastern Michigan University's women's basketball team, Sahar Nusseibeh, has announced the addition of two new transfers for the upcoming 2024-25 season. Joining the Eagles are junior Sisi Eleko from Montreal, Quebec, and senior Jada Williams from Williamstown, New Jersey.

"I am thrilled to welcome both Sisi Eleko and Jada Williams to our Eastern Women's Basketball family," said Nusseibeh. "It has been a privilege to coach a talent and person like Alphonsia these past two years and I am so excited she is committed to continuing our success together. Jada is someone who will bring everything she has to add value to our program on and off the court. Together, these two women will be a dominant force as Eagles," she finished.

Eleko and Williams join a roster that includes incoming freshman Olivia DiFranco from Elyria, Ohio; senior Mackenzie Amalia from Beaver Falls, Pennsylvania; junior Athina Lexa from Thessaloniki, Greece; sophomore Brooklyn Thrash from Wayne, Ohio; and sophomore Adrien LaMora from Philadelphia, New York.

Williams comes with experience from Temple University and Saint Peter's University where she was named to the MAAC Academic All-Conference Team. She appeared in four games last season with an average of 7.8 points per game.

Eleko arrives after playing at Canisius College where she started in 30 out of 31 games last season. She was selected unanimously for the All-MAAC First Team and led her team in rebounds.
