Four members of the Eastern Michigan University women's golf team have been recognized for their academic achievements by earning spots on the 2024 Academic All-MAC Team, as announced by the Mid-American Conference. This recognition ties Eastern Michigan with Western Michigan University for the fifth-highest number of honorees.

The student-athletes from Eastern Michigan who received this honor are senior Natai Apichonlati, junior Alyssa DiMarcantonio, senior Paige Zolciak, and senior Anna Watson. To qualify for this distinction, student-athletes must maintain a cumulative GPA of at least 3.20 and participate in at least half of their sport's contests.

This year’s Academic All-MAC Team includes students from several universities within the conference. Akron had five athletes named to the team, while Ball State and Bowling Green each had three. Central Michigan also had three honorees. Kent State matched Ball State and Bowling Green with three representatives.

Northern Illinois led with six student-athletes on the list, while Ohio contributed five honorees. Toledo also had six athletes recognized for their academic performance alongside their athletic commitments.

Eastern Michigan's four honored athletes are part of a group that includes standout performers like Anna Watson, who achieved a perfect 4.00 GPA in her Master's program in Finance.

The Academic All-MAC honors highlight those who excel both academically and athletically across various disciplines and institutions within the Mid-American Conference.
