Eastern Michigan University Men's Basketball Announces 2024-25 Non-Conference Schedule

YPSILANTI, Mich. (EMUEagles.com) – The Eastern Michigan University men's basketball team has announced its 2024-25 non-conference schedule, the program revealed Thursday, Aug. 29. Game times and television selections will be announced at a later date.

Eastern fans will have the opportunity to see the Eagles in an exhibition game on Oct. 30 against Central State University before EMU's official home opener against Siena Heights University on Nov. 8.

The Eagles will open the 2024-25 campaign at Texas State University on Nov. 4 in the first leg of the Mid-American Conference-Sun Belt Conference Challenge. EMU's non-conference slate concludes with the second leg of the MAC-SBC Challenge against an opponent to be determined on Feb. 8 inside the George Gervin GameAbove Center.

After facing IU-Indianapolis (Nov. 14), Cleveland State (Nov. 16), and Oakland (Nov. 21) on the road, Eastern will head to Texas for a second time in November to battle Houston Christian University (Nov. 25) and Northern Arizona University (Nov. 26) in Houston, Texas.

EMU closes November by hosting the University of Detroit-Mercy on Nov. 30 before traveling to Loyola University Chicago on Dec. 3 to open December games. The Eagles also host Purdue Fort Wayne (Dec. 15) and Wright State University (Dec. 21) before finishing their calendar year at Davidson College on Dec. 28.

The top eight teams in the MAC standings will qualify for the 2025 MAC Tournament, with first-round action set to begin March 13 inside Rocket Mortgage Fieldhouse in Cleveland, Ohio. The championship final is scheduled for March 15, with the winning team earning an automatic berth into the NCAA Tournament.
