Central Michigan University has announced that Instructional Designer Tracy Donohue received the Exemplary Course Program (ECP) Award. The award, presented by Anthology, acknowledges faculty and course designers globally who create engaging and innovative courses that exemplify excellence in technology and learning.

“I am honored and delighted to receive this award,” said Donohue. “Working alongside my colleague, Mingsheng Dai, Ph.D., I had the opportunity to learn and grow from her expertise about online course shells and infuse course content knowledge.”

Donohue’s course was selected from numerous submissions for its excellence in four critical components: Course Design, Interaction and Collaboration, Assessment, and Learner Support.

The Exemplary Course Program has recognized educational achievements for nearly two decades. "Students have high expectations, and the winners of the Exemplary Course Program have truly exemplified the pinnacle of course development," said Bruce Dahlgren, Chief Executive Officer at Anthology. “Anthology is delighted to honor such outstanding talent in the 2024 Exemplary Course Program. Congratulations to all this year's winners for their unwavering commitment to providing a personalized, modern learning experience and empowering student success.”

Donohue's recognition is shared with other awardees whose achievements are highlighted on the Anthology website and within the Anthology Community platform. This platform serves as a hub for users to connect, share insights, and learn from one another.
