The National Black Nurses Association (NBNA) has announced its inaugural class of Academy of Diversity Leaders in Nursing (ADLN) Fellows. The Herbert H. & Grace A. Dow College of Health Professions is excited to see Dr. Kechi Iheduru-Anderson as one of the 176 fellows. She has been an active member of the NBNA.

The Distinguished ADLN Fellows are honored for their creativity and innovation in justice, equity, diversity, and inclusion (JEDI) initiatives in nursing to transform nursing education, research, practice, policy, or administration. Dr. Iheduru-Anderson's research focuses on equity, diversity, inclusion, and antiracism in nursing practice, leadership, and education.

The NBNA began in 1971 and now has over 300,000 members and 115 chapters. Programs within the NBNA help members grow to provide culturally competent healthcare services within communities.
