Kaitlyn Holbeck earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work in 2018 from Central Michigan University and a Master’s Degree in Social Work in 2022 from Arizona State University. She has a limited license for social work in the State of Michigan, and is trained to work with individuals and groups.
Holbeck has knowledge in trauma, mental health, substance use, Integrated Dual Disorder Treatment, crisis intervention, motivational interviewing, human trafficking, sexual assault, and domestic violence. She brings three years of case management experience with Community Mental Health for Central Michigan, has completed an 8-month counseling internship with Senior Life Solutions focusing on group and individual counseling, and an 8-month counseling internship with R.I.S.E. Advocacy concentrated on individual and group counseling for sexual assault and domestic violence.
Holbeck joined the R.I.S.E. Advocacy team as the Sexual Assault Counselor in August 2022, completed specialized training in the field of Human Trafficking to be able to provide training and education, and began facilitating the R.I.S.E Human Trafficking Coalition meetings and providing awareness and education to the community about Human Trafficking.
