SPAGHETTI BRIDGE - A TALE TOLD IN FOUR ACTS:
ACT I: BJSHS STEM students Vanessa Guzman and Travis Ficek build a bridge using spaghetti and glue. Mr. Wicke confirms that the bridge meets the specifications called for in the assignment.
ACT II: By adding weight to the pail suspended from the bridge, Wicke tests its limits.
ACT III: Shards of pasta fly as he reaches them.
ACT IV: Post-game discussion centers around how the bridge could've been constructed to withstand more stress. The consensus is that this is potentially the most delicious science experiment of the year.
