The past 2 days have been filled with trainings...
Yesterday morning Chief Sawyer and Sheriff Main instructed over 200 teachers at the Gratiot-Isabella RESD on Response to Active Violence and Stop the Bleed.
In the afternoon, Chief Sawyer gave the same presentation to the Food Service Staff at Shepherd Public Schools.
This morning, Chief Sawyer spent time with all staff at Shepherd Public Schools on lessons learned from Uvalde, Texas. He will be meeting with individual buildings soon to give the Response to Active Violence and Stop the Bleed presentation.
As we always say, we hope our teachers NEVER have to use ANY of this training...but if they do, we want them prepared!
