Shepherd Police Department recently issued the following announcement.
In the nighttime hours of December 28-29, 2021, acts of vandalism were committed at the Shepherd Public School District Athletic Complex. The individual(s) responsible spray-painted vulgar messages/pictures on the Veteran’s Memorial Stadium press box and on outfield signs at the Lenard Moeggenborg Varsity Softball field.
Although this can and will be cleaned up, it is sad to think that someone made the decision to try and ruin the incredible facilities that the students at Shepherd Public Schools have.
The school wishes to fully prosecute the individual(s) responsible.
Several community members have come together and raised a significant reward for the individual who identifies those responsible for this crime.
