Beal City Public Schools issued the following announcement on Aug 21.
Parents and students,
Due to the Township sewer project we will need to make some adjustments to our typical traffic flow.
We are planning to start school on time this year and as normal as possible.
Beal City Road between Winn and Thelen is CLOSED until Friday. The best way for you to get to the school from any direction is coming from the west on Beal City Rd to the school parking lot. The parking lot is new with a new entrance so please drive slowly learning the new parking lot layout.
The roads around town are not in great shape right now so please slow down. This should change in the coming months as they work to get the roads repaired and repaved. When they do that work it will again cause some detours and traffic backups but we will try our best to keep you up to date and informed.
