The Isabella County Commission on Aging, along with the Isabella County Administrator Controller has developed a plan, detailed below, to safely and slowly resume in-person programs and services provided at the Isabella County Commission on Aging, beginning July 12, 2021.
Phase 1: July 12, 2021. In-person meals, along with the corresponding meal activity, will be provided at the Isabella County Commission on Aging on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays in Room C from 11:00am-1:30pm. Individuals wishing to take part in the lunch programs must call the Isabella County Commission on Aging with 24-hour notice at 989-772-0748 to make their reservation. No other in-person activities or programs will be offered at this time.
Phase 2: July 26, 2021. In-person meals, along with the corresponding meal activity, will be provided at the Isabella County Commission on Aging and all satellite sites, where approval has been granted, on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 11:00am-1:30pm. Individuals wishing to take part in the lunch programs must call the Isabella County Commission on Aging with 24-hour notice at 989-772-0748 to make their reservation. No other in-person activities or programs will be offered at this time.
Phase 3: August 9, 2021. In-person meals will be served at the Isabella County Commission on Aging five days per week – Monday through Friday. In-person meals will continue to be served at the satellite sites on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. All other Commission on Aging in-person activities will resume at the Isabella County Commission on Aging.
As a heightened precaution, to ensure the health and safety of those we serve, all Isabella County Commission on Aging staff will continue to wear masks, and we will also request that all of our guests wear masks when they enter the facility, with the exception of when they are eating. We will also promote social distancing along with hand washing and/or the use of hand sanitizer, which will be readily available for all to use.
