The Gladwin County Community Foundation created a COVID-19 response fund to help residents during the pandemic.

The financial resource was created by gathering information from community partners, organizations and individual residents to help supply the county with what it needs most.

Vice Chair of the Gladwin County Community Foundation Pamela Cigano said the fund will be used to help residents or businesses impacted by the virus.

“The Gladwin County Community Foundation is committed to serving individuals and organizations affected by COVID-19 in the Gladwin community. We are happy to make an impact on the livelihood of our neighbors in need," Cingano told WNEM for its April 7 report. “There are still a lot of unknowns with COVID-19. What we do know is that GCCF will be there to support Gladwin County.”
