MidMichigan Medical Center - Gladwin issued the following announcement on Feb. 7.
For those living with pre-diabetes or diabetes, MidMichigan Health is offering a monthly Diabetes Support Group in Gladwin. The free meeting gathers the second Tuesday of each month from 4 to 5 p.m., at MidMichigan Health Park – Gladwin, 1105 East Cedar Ave. (M-61).
Designed to help people who are living with pre-diabetes or diabetes, attendees will learn and share strategies to better manage their condition. Friends and support persons are encouraged to attend. Some meetings will include guest speakers. A different topic will be discussed each month.
Registration to attend the support group is not required. Those interested in more information may call Deb Reimer, R.N., at (989) 802-8496.
