The announcement was made on May 20, with a total of 29 student-athletes from various institutions being acknowledged for maintaining a minimum 3.2 grade-point average and participating in at least half of their team’s competitions. Freshmen and transfer students are not eligible for this award.

Riley Kim, hailing from Aldie, Virginia, played 39 rounds during the season with an average score of 77.3 strokes. Her performance contributed to the team’s record-setting four-player average of 300.9 strokes, surpassing the previous best set in the 2015-16 season. Kim’s standout tournament occurred on March 3-4 at the River Landing Classic in Wilmington, North Carolina, where she finished fourth overall with a score of 2-over 218 (73-72-73).
