Former Mt. Pleasant High School standout Griffin Phillips played on Friday, May 23 in hopes of reaching the NCAA Division II Baseball Championship

On Friday, May 23, former Mt. Pleasant High School standout Griffin Phillips’ current collegiate team the Northwood Timberwolves won 8-11 against the Indianapolis Greyhounds in the NCAA Division II Baseball Championship.

The game took place at Greyhound Park at 2 p.m. and was the second matchup against the Indianapolis Greyhounds in the tournament.

The Northwood Timberwolves’ next game will take place on Saturday, May 24 at 12 p.m. at Greyhound Park.
