Central Michigan University graduate health programs ranked among top in the nation

Five graduate programs at The Herbert H. & Grace A. Dow College of Health Professions at Central Michigan University have been ranked among the top 150 nationwide by U.S. News & World Report, according to an April 9 announcement from the university.

The rankings highlight Central Michigan University’s standing in both national and state contexts, with all five programs also achieving top placements within Michigan. This recognition underscores the university’s ongoing commitment to academic excellence and professional preparation for students entering health professions.

According to the rankings, Audiology is placed #34 nationally and #1 in Michigan; Healthcare Management is #75 overall and #2 in the state; Speech-Language Pathology holds #78 nationally and #3 in Michigan; Physical Therapy ranks #139 overall and #4 statewide; while Public Health is listed at #142 nationally and #5 within Michigan. This year’s edition of U.S. News Best Graduate Schools evaluated more than 7,000 degree-granting programs across over 1,100 universities using objective measures as well as peer and recruiter opinions.

Central Michigan University leads in national participation for Alternative Breaks programs according to its official website. The university has also been recognized as one of two Adobe Creative Campuses in Michigan and one of four Celonis Academic Centers of Excellence nationally according to its official website.
