He emphasized the importance of directing funds to students and local districts rather than allocating additional resources to the State Board of Education. Schuette stated: “Our local school districts win BIG in the @MI_Republicans K-12 school aid budget. We are focused on returning dollars to students and local school districts, instead of giving our failed State Board of Education more resources to waste.”
