On May 21, 2025, Schuette expressed gratitude to those who participated in his tele-town hall titled “Ask Bill G.” He described the event as a “very good discussion,” highlighting his appreciation for engaging with constituents and discussing his efforts at the state capitol. “Thanks to all who tuned into my ‘Ask Bill G.’ tele-town hall last evening! Very good discussion. Always appreciate hearing from you and discussing what I am working on delivering for you in the state’s capitol.”

The following day, May 22, Schuette mentioned providing a legislative update to members of the Michigan Association of Certified Public Accountants (CPAs) during their annual State Capitol Day. He valued this opportunity to connect with industry organizations to discuss collaborative efforts for statewide improvements. “Yesterday, I provided a legislative updated to the @MichiganCPAs at their annual State Capitol day. Appreciate the opportunity to meet with some our state industry organizations and discuss how we can work together to make our state better.”

Later on May 22, Schuette announced his vote in favor of maintaining safety and fairness in sports competitions for female athletes across the state. He characterized this decision as “commonsense” and stressed that it should not be considered controversial. “Today I voted to keep sports competitions SAFE AND FAIR for female athletes throughout our state. This is commonsense. It should not be controversial.”
